Combined usage alerts
One email when combined usage reaches the cap.
The total adds every session and every tool for that person: Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, and Devin. When the week’s spend reaches the company’s cap, that person gets one email.
What the company sets
- The cap. The default is 250 USD.
- The number of days in the total. The default is 7.
- The currency and the company’s time zone.
A person is mailed at most once each local day. The mail uses the address already stored for that person. Someone without an email address is left out.
When the mail goes out
Each company has one run per day. It runs during the hours when that company’s usage is lowest. If those hours are equally low, the run can cover up to three of them. With no recent usage, the run uses 06:00 in the company’s time zone.
Jobs keeps a row for each run: the quiet hours, how many people were mailed, and whether the run finished. Settings is where the cap is saved.
